Christmas 5 – Christmas Cookie Mix

What is more Christmas than a home baked Cookie?

I have baked you a big batch for today’s freebie, but I can NOT recommend you eating them! They will, however, be great for all your Christmas layouts. Or for printing and hanging on your tree.

The batch contains 38 cookies – some decorated, some not. They are all separate full size PNGs. I have included a Bonus of 3 Cookie Frames and a Cookie Page Frame. I have also included the preview image in case you can use it for something.

I know you are busy this time of year, but as mentioned in an earlier post I would REALLY like to hear how you spend your Christmas. All you have to do is write me a short comment, and when we get closer to Christmas, I will make a post with quotes from your comments. So PLEASE take a minute or two to make me happy.

I’ll be back again tomorrow – see you then.

Christmas 4 – Back to Nature

Today I’m going back to nature.

I have taken some of the nature items connected with Christmas and made you 3 Freebies –  an Alpha, some Papers and a pack of Elements. I think that my new location has taken a bit of the Big City Girl out of me and replaced her with a bit of Nature Girl. But at this time of year it doesn’t bother me.

My Christmas preparations are going fine. But now I have to be honest… There aren’t a lot of them. We don’t give presents, so no shopping or wrapping. We don’t have room for a Christmas tree yet, so no tree decorating. We get the Christmas dinner from the local restaurant, so no cooking. All I have done so far is put up some fairy lights, spread around some candles and a few decorations. This may sound sad to you but you know what: I’m fine with it. It takes the hassle out of the Holidays and gives us more time for what Christmas should be about – being together and having a nice time. And for the Danish concept “Hygge” (badly translated into cozy). It’s kind of a Zen Christmas. If you ever get the chance, you should try it!

But enough of me – let’s get to the Freebies.

Bark Alpha

A full alpha in bark texture. You get A-Z, a-z, 0-9 and a few symbols. They are, of course, in separate PNGs, and you are welcome to use them for CU4CU.

Deer Paper Bundle

This bundle contains 3 paper packs with deer patterns. One has “fluffy deer”, one has “gold deer” and the last one has “sparkly deer”. All in brown deer colours. You get 3 x 6 papers all in 12×12 JPGs.

Animal Mix

These darlings have been sitting in my “Sand Box” for a while, but I thinks it’s time to let them out. You get 10 elements – 2 deer, 2 geese, 2 piggies, 2 doves and 2 winter trees. I thought you could use them for something pretty. Cards, tags or something other to your liking. They are all  full size PNGs.

I must go back to my busy Christmas Schedule 😉 See you tomorrow.

Christmas 3 – Snow and Ice

As snow and Ice is lacking for this Christmas I have made you some freebies to make up for it.

I’m actually a little shocked. I just realised that I only have 8 days left for posting all my Christmas freebies! AND I also have to prepare for the physical Christmas… Thank God we have dropped Christmas gift and get the Christmas dinner delivered 🙂  . So to avoid stress I will be posting new freebies every day until Christmas Eve, and I think I can squeeze in the new Member’s stuff too. See – No stress at all!!!!

How about you? Are you stressed out by Christmas or do you stay in the spirit of calm and joy? I know Christmas is celebrated differently around the world, and maybe you belong to a group that does not celebrate Christmas at all. If you have the time, I would love to have you write me a short comment on your Christmas traditions – there may even be a prize in it for you. Just start your comment to this post with “My Christmas” and I will repost them in a later post.

But first the Snow and Ice freebies:

Frosted Alpha

A full alpha made in an icy/frosted style.

That’s it for today – See you tomorrow?

Christmas 2 – Bling Papers

I’ve never been a huge fan of Bling. Glitter, gold and sparkly stuff. But for some reason, this year my Christmas feel includes a lot of it… Maybe I’m getting old – or maybe all the wild nature surrounding me now makes me look for something more “pretty”? I don’t know. But I do know that a lot of my Chistmas Freebies will include Bling (the pretty kind 😉 ).

Today’s gift to you is a Paper Pack of Gold Ornamental Papers.I have tried to stay away from the usual red, green and yellow Christmas colours and instead pulled out a pallet of mute lovely Christmassy colours – Hope you like them. This colour choice also make the papers more usable year round.

The PP contains 10 papers 12×12, JPG, and may be used for CU4CU.

By the way…. Our promised white Christmas has been cancelled 🙁 We are actually having early fall temperatures at the moment. Strange feeling. But well, there are still 10 days for the wind to change!

To help the snow on the way I bill be back in a few days with some snowy/icy freebies for your Christmas Collection – no Bling there.

Enjoy this fab month and come back soon.

Lots of Love to you and yours

Good News!

After yet another long break from posting I’m back with good news.

First of all we got our stuff out of storage, so now we only have 500 moving boxes to unpack…. We have our clothes, our furniture and everything else we have been missing for almost a year

Secondly, I have been granted early retirement so I am now “free”. No more municipal demands, no more meetings with caseworkers. I am back to being in control of my own life 🙂

On Monday I celebrated my Birthday (gosh 49!) and my mother came all the way to our little island to join in – Love her!

And soon it will be Christmas 🙂 We have been told there is a chance for a white one this year.

How about that for all good news?

And I have even more of it: Because of my absence I have 3 new freebies for you today.

The first one has been waiting in the archives for a long time, but now it’s finally the right time to share. A Moving Box Alpha to celebrate the return of our belongings.

The second one is a lovely pack of 30 grungy papers in winter tones.

I really hope that your lives are just a little bit as good as mine is at the moment. I will return real soon with a little Christmas Goodies.

Enjoy your December with everything it stands for.

Rainy Day

We are having a rainy day… A VERY rainy day!

My newly sowed lawn in raining away and what the water is not taking the birds are 🙁 But never mind. It’s a rainy day and that is a great opportunity to stay inside and do nothing but drinking coffee and watching bad TV – it is, however, Sunday 🙂

I have taken a break from the bad TV to post a little something for you should you ever have a rainy Sunday.

First is a little reminder of how great the outdoors can look on a sunny day. I have made a pack of colourful flowers to pretty up any layout.

But now for the important part….

What to do with the kiddies on a rainy day. They need something to do all day and what could be better than LEGO? Even the adults find LEGO interesting. So I have made you a LEGO Alpha to play around with. I have even included a background.

I hope this will keep you entertained. Me? I’ll go out in my garden an play scarecrow chasing the birds away from my (hopefully) soon-to-be lawn.

Have a great Sunday.

Autumn – Time for Cosy

As autumn is knocking, it’s time for Cosy….

After a late 5-day heatwave I still enjoy summer-ish days here on the island. I have FINALLY finished with the weed removal and is ready to sow the lawn. It should still be possible to make it grow before it gets too cold. If I succeed you will get a picture 🙂

But you can, however, never be too prepared for autumn. That is why, today, I present you with nothing less than 5 free paper packs with distressed plaid. To me plaid spells autumn/winter and is all time cosy.

Aren’t they amazing? Heat up the chocolate and ring out the mini-marshmellows. It’s time to cosy up 🙂

If anyone is wondering…. We still don’t have our furniture, we still have lack of finances and we still “live in the basement”. I hope our luck will soon change so we can have a normal life – a cosy life.

See you soon.

Lots of Love

Autumn?

Is it Autumn I see and feel outside? Is Summer over already?

I am afraid the answer is Yes! I am starting to feel drawn to knitted sweaters and long trousers, and I am no longer eating salad and ice cream all the time. Autumn is, however, my favourite season, so I’m not like SAD sad, just a bit nostalgic. Autumn don’t have long warm nights, sun tan and 24 hour light.

BUT – Autumn has indoor activities, hot cocoa and lighted candles, and I like that a lot.

That is why I am marking this change in seasons with an appropriate freebie for you: A Tea Pot Pattern Pack.

The pack contains

  • 5 Patters – 1 PAT and 5 Seamless Squares
  • 5 transparent Overlays (PNG)
  • 12 Papers made from the patterns

Everything is full size, 300 dpi, and you can use it for CU4CU.

It’s getting late now – and dark outside – so I think I’ll cuttle up with coffee and one of my autumn favourites – Pancakes (crepes). And maybe it’s time to plan for all my Christmas Freebies…. No, not yet. I need to be sure that summer is over before I take that step.

Enjoy your Sunday – no matter what season you have. I’ll be back soon.

Lots of Love
