Christmas 3 – Snow and Ice

As snow and Ice is lacking for this Christmas I have made you some freebies to make up for it.

I’m actually a little shocked. I just realised that I only have 8 days left for posting all my Christmas freebies! AND I also have to prepare for the physical Christmas… Thank God we have dropped Christmas gift and get the Christmas dinner delivered 🙂  . So to avoid stress I will be posting new freebies every day until Christmas Eve, and I think I can squeeze in the new Member’s stuff too. See – No stress at all!!!!

How about you? Are you stressed out by Christmas or do you stay in the spirit of calm and joy? I know Christmas is celebrated differently around the world, and maybe you belong to a group that does not celebrate Christmas at all. If you have the time, I would love to have you write me a short comment on your Christmas traditions – there may even be a prize in it for you. Just start your comment to this post with “My Christmas” and I will repost them in a later post.

But first the Snow and Ice freebies:

Waiting for Spring

Spring is just around the corner…

As the sun is beginning to regain its power and the days are getting longer, I am sitting here waiting for springtime. A season to give me back my energy and kill all the germs constantly attacking my non-existing immune system.

So to mark the end of winter I bring you an Add-On to the kit “Cosy Winter”

I noticed – too late – that I had forgotten to include the credits for this add-on, so you’ll get them here:

For the Cosy Winter Add-On I have used material and actions from the following designers:

Thanks to all of you!

CWAO – Alphas

This is an alpha consisting of monogram caps and numbers in silver with 5 enamel colours. They are split up into two downloads – one with the letters and one with the numbers.

Coming Up

Before I call off I want to let you know that it won’t be long before the Medicine Cabinet is opened.Well, it is actually open – you may have noticed the new image/link in the menu. But I will make an official Opening on the Weekend, as I think that will probably call for a Newsletter.

So if you need to be picked up or settled down go have a look to see if the Medicine Cabinet have something to help you.

Until next post I hope the best for you all and at least a day or two of wonderful spring weather.

Text Frames

Put your important messages in a Text Frame

I promised you more elements and here they are. I have converted some lovely brushes by Diana’z Designz into different styles of text frames for that very important message or title. There are 10 different frames and I have made them in 3 different styles: Silver, Iron and Craft Cut-out. Please notice that it is NOT a mistake that frame 8 and 9 is not included as Craft Cut-outs – it simply because they are open to the sides, and that makes the craft cut-out action doing some real strange things with it….

Each frame is app. 5 inches wide but can easily be made smaller to your liking. They come as individual PNGs and you are welcome to use them for PU, S4O/S4H and CU.

Back to papers

As I can not stay away from making papers, I will be returning tomorrow with some of my latest for you. I may even make it another double… They will be in wonderful summer colours and really brighten up your days.

I have also heard from a secret source that a new family has applied for a spot on the blog. I don’t yet have the details, but stay tuned to find out – I’ll keep you informed.

Overlays (maybe) coming up….

Second to papers, overlays are one of my favourite things to make. They are so versatile and can make almost everything you want and need. However, they have one problem – They are PNGs and that means HEAVY files. So I need your help here….

If I want to post some of them for you, how would you prefer to get them? As single downloads (one in each) or can you manage download files over 30 MB?

Please leave a comment to let me know. I have SO many of them and would really like to share them with you.

Enjoy the rest of Mother’s Day and come back tomorrow for the papers.

Labels – Distressed and Solid

I have gone Labels Crazy!

I don’t know what goes on in my head, but sometimes I get so sucked into my work I can’t stop, even if I want to. A few days go I made a new label template and was pretty pleased with it, so I wanted to test it in use…. about 5 hours later – around 1 am – I had to force myself to stop and go to bed. At that point I had made 5 Label Packs! One of them is today’s freebie.

The other 4 are posted in the Members Area, but don’t worry. I am no way near done making them so you will get plenty here on the blog as well. I think I will make this label standard the Signature Product of Danish Design…

The “DD Labels 01 – Basic” is a pack of 20 labels. 8 solid 1-colour, 8 disressed 1-colour and 4 2-colours. All are 5 x 2½ inches, 300 dpi, individual PNGs. I haven’t tried it but I think they are printable as well (could look very cute on your home made jams!).

You are welcome to use the for CU as well as PU and S4O/S4H.

Members Area

If it turns out that you are as mad about these labels as I am you should consider joining the Members Area. There will be added more of these on both the blog and the Members Area in the future. And remember – you don’t have to pay full fee in one go. See more about that here.

But it’s not only labels I have added to the Members Area. A kit and an alpha can also be found in the Christmas Category. Go see it all in the Members Area Gallery.

Stay happy and healthy until next time….

Christmas stickers – digital or printout

I went to Nbf and all I got was some lousy Christmas Stickers!

Today my imagination (and time) didn’t mount to more than a pack of Christmas Stickers. But that is OK too, cause they can be used in both the digital and the analogue world. Use them as decoration on your layouts, as tape to fasten something or maybe as a “stamp” on your Christmas emails.

But if you print and cut out the stickers you can actually use them as….. well, stickers! Glue them on your Christmas present or cards, or glue two together with a string in the middle and hang them on your tree.

The pack contains 6 different Christmas stickers, each in both white and kraft paper. They are around 7 cm, 300 dpi, PNGs.

Letter from Santa…

I have just received a letter (email) from Santa with his writing for the next NbF Newsletter, and, boy, is that something to look forward to. I will definitely recommend everyone who has not yet signed up for the newsletter to do so now to get in on Santa’s wise words (and Christmas Surprise).

Please notice – My Newsletter supplier is not able to attach the latest issue with the sign-up confirmation, so all new subscribers will have to wait for the next issue. Sorry!
